 The Hair Awards is the only consumer and industry tested hair awards of its kind in the UK. This year Malcolm Murphy Hair was shortlisted in two CATEGORIES for the Hair Awards. 'Best Extentionist' for Malcolm Murphy and 'Best Regional Salon (Midlands)'. The results came out in the June issue of Hair Magazine and we are so pleased to announce that we have won 'Best regional Salon (Midlands)'.
We are so pleased that our amazing salon has been recognized nationally. Congratulations to all the staff at Malcolm Murphy Hair that help make our salon such a special place.

The MET Gala (officially called the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit), took place on Monday night. The glitzy bash organised by Anna Wintour gave New York a taste of Japanese fashion this year. In 2017 the Met Gala honoured Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo as part of the “Art of the In-Between”.

For us Rihanna is the undisputed queen of the MET Gala. We love everything about this look from the styling to the hair and makeup. Rihanna wore her hair in a sleek top knot with a fringe. Bravo Rihanna, our winner of the night.
Halle Berry's hair was effortless looking and oh so chic for the MET Gala 2017. Halle Berry's hairstylist Castillo didnt want to take away from the elements that made the dress amazing, so decided to pull the hair back into an elegant low bun with a crown at the top.
